Patent Wines is a small Napa Valley winery created by longtime vintners Tom Rinaldi and Eric Risch. Together, we bring 75 years of experience to making the wines we love to drink: classic Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc from exceptional Napa Valley vineyards.

Tom Rinaldi has been making wine in Napa Valley for more than half a century. His career began at Freemark Abbey before he became the founding winemaker at Duckhorn Vineyards in 1978. Today, he brings that experience to Patent Wines.
