Miller Ranch, Yountville AVA
Location:
First Planted in the 1890’s the vineyard is situated on the west side of Napa Valley, just south of the town of Yountville. This historic vineyard sits flat on the valley floor that has been farmed by the Miller Family for generations.
Vines:
The Sauvignon Blanc planted here enjoys full days of sun, un-shaded from the hillsides. By design, the vineyard has a few Sémillon and Muscat vines sporadically intermingled amongst the rows making it truly unique.
Soil: Composed of Cole Silt Loam, Yolo Loam, and Clear Lake Clay. Ideal for producing Sauvingon Blanc of intensity, aromatics, and minerality.
St. Helena AVA Vineyards
Location: Located on the west side of the valley, in the area’s best region. It gently slopes toward Hwy 29 on the valley floor.
Beckstrom Vineyard
Bynoe Vineyard
Secret Vineyard
Vines: Planted in 1999 this vineyard is planted exclusively to Cabernet Sauvignon.
Soil: Bale gravely rock from the alluvial fan of the mountains, well drained.
Oak Knoll AVA
Location: East of the mountain on the west side of the valley in the AVA’s north-west region. All-day and late-day sun exposure. Adjacent to numerous vineyards of distiction.
Vines: Planted to Cabernet Sauvignon clones 4 and 337.
Soil: Hard and rocky with fine clay interspersed. This mix results in a low to medium moisture-holding capacity, giving the vines a bit of a struggle, and just the right amount of nourishing moisture and nutrients.
